Welcome to Diverse Living Devon

We work with neurodivergent individuals of all ages, including those who are autistic, ADHD and AuDHD.
You don’t need a diagnosis – or even know exactly what’s going on – to deserve understanding and support. We’re here to help you, your child or young person feel more confident, connected and be able to flourish in their own way.

Regulation & Sensory Understanding
Making sense of feelings, behaviours & relationships
Social Safety & Confidence
For families, adults, young people & children

Just like every flower, every person is different & unique, they have their owns strengths & their own challenges. We adapt the environment to help plants thrive; every person deserves the same care, understanding & support to grow, to flourish.

How we work
We look at the whole picture, understanding what’s getting in the way, what’s working well and what can be adapted.
Our support focuses on helping individuals and families build strategies that truly fit their lives. This might include areas such as sensory regulation, executive functioning, anxiety, self-esteem, daily routines, relationships communication or learning.
We work collaboratively to create practical, compassionate solutions that promote confidence, connection and long term growth.

Wordy Wednesdays There’s a lot of big language around neurodivergence, mental health, and education. Acronyms. Labels. Professional words that can feel confusing, overwhelming, or even judgemental. Wordy Wednesdays is about making that language more accessible. Not to tell anyone how they should think or identify — but to explain what these words usually mean, in everyday language. I believe everyone has the right to: understand the words being used about them or their child to choose the language that feels right for them have their autonomy, identity, and experience respected You might agree with the wording here. You might use different words. Both are okay. This space is about understanding, not correction. Clarity, not pressure. Support, not labels. I hope that at least one word helps you feel a little less alone.
